New 2 year Postgraduate programs available from the Division of Business

The Division of Business in the University of South Australia is pleased to announce, three new Masters programs over a 2 year duration.  The Masters of Business (Professional Accounting + Specialisations-DMPS), The Master of Human Resource Management (Extension-DMHE) and the Master of International Business (Extension-DMIE). 

 In addition to the existing  2 year Master of Business- Professional Accounting and Finance (DMPF) a wider selection of double major Masters with Professional Accounting are now available in the Masters of Business (Professional Accounting + Specialisations  (DMPS) .   These specialisations enable students to combine Professional Accounting that meets the CPA and ICAA professional recognition with other areas of business and management studies. This will give students an edge in their career development and also enable them to meet the global demand in career professionals in other areas of business.  See intakes available to international students in the chart below. 

2009 Program fee: $ 18 000 AUD, Whole program $36 000AUD*;  2010 Program fee: $ 19,900 AUD, Whole program $39 800 AUD*   

In addition to the existing Master of Human Resource Management 1.5 years duration, we now offer the Master of Human Resource Management (Extension), that is 2 years duration. This program has been designed to allow graduates to further develop their knowledge and understanding of HR  beyond the level possible in a 1.5 yr  program.  Students take an extended sequence of HRM courses – eight HRM core courses covering the main areas of HR professional practice and four electives. The extension program has been designed to be more flexible, and will assist students in being more capable and employable as a HR practitioners.

Students completing the 2 year Master of International Business (Extension- DMIE) program will acquire further skills and expertise in international business, strategic management and specialised functional skills to manage a business in a global environment.  It will allow students to take an extended sequence of international business courses and electives which will allow them to tailor their qualification more closely to their career ambitions.
